Cost New Owner eGo Tags cost $25 each and tags automatically expire every two years from the issue date. There is no renewal fee for owner eGo tags and payment is accepted in cash, check or credit card.
The Process Notification to renew your eGo tag is automatically sent to owners who are in the HOA email database a month before tags are due to expire. If you receive this notice or if your eGo tag no longer opens Desert Mountain gates, simply c all the HOA office at 480-595-4220 to reactivate your eGo Tag. Verify that you own the same vehicle(s) to renew your tags for another two years free of charge

Policy for Portable Transponders -- Effective April 1, 2008 Portable transponders are issued to authorized home/lot owners free for the first month's usage (with a $50 deposit) and thereafter, will be charged $50 for the next 11 months, and $50 for each successive 12 month period. Portable transponders will automatically be turned off after 12 months unless the $50 fee is paid. In addition, fees may only be paid by check, money order or credit card.
Owners with portable transponders are notified via email (if their email address is in the HOA database) when the portable transponder is to expire. Owners of portable transponders must call the HOA office and pay for another year of service before their portable transponder will be renewed.
Those currently in possession of authorized portable transponders who have paid a $150 deposit, please be advised that $50 will be deducted from the deposit each year for three years, beginning April 1, 2008. After the third year, the cost will be $50 per year as previously described. |
